Fleckenstein Studios is a collaborative work - it was born out of the friendship and passion of two design students. Ronja Fleckenstein began making beaded jewelry for her best friends. To cope with the increasing demand, she brought her fellow student Samson Kipp onto the team - together they developed the jewelry brand “Fleckenstein Studios” as part of their bachelor's thesis at the Faculty of Design. While founding their brand, the students encountered a number of challenges, which they overcame in their work. They both see jewelry, which is usually understood as a sign of personality and individuality, as an expression of a community and a signal of belonging.
